Minimum Requirements for Diploma in Teacher Education
i) Mean Grade C+ (Plus) at KCSE
ii) Grade C (plain) in English
iii) Grade D+ (plus) in Mathematics for Art based Courses only.
iv) Grade C (plain) in Mathematics for Science based courses only.
v) Grade C+ (plus) in the two teaching subjects.
NB: For applicants with special needs (visual and hearing impairment)

iii) Grade D (plain) in Mathematics for Art based courses only.

ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES
As an institution of Teacher Education, Kagumo TTC offers Agriculture, English, Kiswahili, French, German, Arabic, Business Studies, Art & Design, Music, IRE (Islamic Religious Education) and Computer Studies in order to adequately equip the graduates to take up their rightful place in teaching and national development. Furthermore, Education and Physical Education are offered as compulsory subjects for all students. Together with these subjects, the following support subjects are offered: Communication Skills, Environmental Education, Guidance and Counseling, General Workshop Course, Library Science, Entrepreneurship and Information Communication Technology (ICT).

Applicants receive the notice through the main newspapers and Media from Kenya Universities and Colleges Placement Service (KUCCPS).
Upon receipt of the shortlisted candidates from KUCCPS, the college invites the candidates to collect their admission letters and the joining instructions.

The candidates then place requests either through physical dispatching of KCSE certificates or by sending their testimonials through our Online application form
