KNEC: 2025 KCSE Timetable Officially Released

The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has announced the timetable for the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams. The exams will start on October 21, 2025, and end on November 12, 2025.

The first exams will be on October 21, with French, Sign Language, and German. Practical exams will take place from October 22 to October 31, covering subjects like Home Science, Art and Design, Woodwork, and Metalwork.

The theory exams will begin on November 3, starting with English and Chemistry, with a four-hour break in between. On November 4, students will take their Mathematics exam, which is required for all, and English Literature on the same day.

On November 5, students will take the second Chemistry paper in the morning, followed by the English Composition in the afternoon. On November 6, the Kiswahili exam will be in the morning, followed by the Kiswahili literature paper in the afternoon.

The second week will start with Christian Religious Education on November 11, followed by Biology Paper 1 in the afternoon. The second Biology paper will be on November 13, followed by History and Government.

The Biology practical exam will take place on November 14. In the final week, students will sit for Geography Paper 1 and Physics Paper 1 on November 18. Business Studies Paper 1 and Agriculture will be on November 19.

The exams will finish on November 21 with Physics Paper 3 (practical)
