Note:

The institution’s head must approve the evaluation.

The topic mean score or the improvement index from the current or previous place (whichever is higher) determines the scoring.

Note:

Results from the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination will be accorded a lot of weight.

A maximum of 20 points can be awarded to teachers who achieve a mean score of 11 or higher.
