KNEC Denounces KCSE 2022 Viral Results as Fake. The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has denounced viral examination results circulated through social media.
The said results from a non- existent candidate allegedly scored an A and six E’s in the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
The National Examination Board through its tutor handle has distanced itself from the shared screenshot and termed as fake and poked holes in the fabricated communication purportedly from the council.
“We wish to inform the public to ignore this fake result being circulated through social media. “No such index number exists in any of our schools,” the body clarified.
According to the shared screenshot fake results the scores were as follows

The student registered under index number 47789377301 attained a mean grade E and an aggregate of 18 points.
Upon enrollment for the Form Four exam, all students are given a unique index number with 11 digits, the first eight of which are to identify the school and the last three the student.
