Mombasa Hosts Drama, as MoE Releases Co-Curricular Activities Dates

The Ministry of Education has (MoE) released the dates for the 2023 co-curricular activities in primary, secondary schools, and colleges countrywide.

The co-curricular activities, including drama festivals, sports and Music Festivals are scheduled to take place between 20th April 2023 and 3rd September 2023.

The 2023 National Drama and Film Festival will be hosted in Mombasa at the Shimo la Tewa High School in Mombasa County beginning 20th April 2023.

Term One Special Needs Education primary school athletics will be held at the Moi Forces Academy in Nairobi County Beginning 21st April 2023.

Primary School Athletics will be hosted at the William Ole Ntimama Stadium in Narok County starting 21st April 2023 21 and April 25.

Term One secondary school sports (athletics, basketball, hockey, handball and swimming) are scheduled for April 22 to April 30 at the Hill School and Moi Girls’ High School, Eldoret, both in Uasin Gishu County.

The dates were announced to the relevant education stakeholders, including the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), secondary school principals and primary school head teachers, by Basic Education Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang.
