The 2021 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results were released by Education Cabinet Secretary, George Magoha.
The CS – while noting that the overall performance in this year’s exams had improved – noted that some schools recorded impressive growth in their mean score this year compared to 2020.
Here are the eight most-improved schools in the former eight provinces:
1. Coast – Kambi ya Waya Primary School – recorded a mean score of 266 this year from 203 marks in 2020.
2. Central – Njenga Karume Primary School – posted a 248 mean score compared to 207 marks mean score in 2020.

3. Eastern – Ngukuini Primary School – recorded a mean score of 250 marks against 165 in 2020.
4. Nairobi – Cheleta Primary School – got 263 marks as the mean score from the previous year’s 213 marks.
5. Rift Valley – Lenkishon Primary School – recorded 272 marks mean score compared to the previous year’s 198 marks.
6. Western – Kewa DEB Primary School – posted a mean score of 284 marks in this year’s exam compared to 216 marks last year.
7. Nyanza – Nyangiti Primary School – got a mean score of 232 marks against 170 in 2020.
8. North Eastern – Mandera DEB Primary School – recorded a mean score of 270 marks
