TSC Promotes over 16 Thousand Teachers Who Attended 2021 February Interview

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has finalized the interview results for teachers who attended interview for promotions conducted in February 2021.

The interviews were carried Out between February 8 and 19, 2021 at designated TSC County offices countrywide. A total of 32,431 teachers who were shortlisted and interviewed are jostling for the 15,226 available vacancies.

The Commission sought to fill 1,341 vacancies for Deputy Principal I and another 1,096 vacancies for Deputy Principals I. But, there was a stiff competition for the 6,680 vacancies available for teachers in grade C3 (Formerly L).

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has promoted 16,152 teachers following that successful interviews which were conducted in December 2020 and February 2021.

These Successful candidates now  have been promoted to grade C4 (Senior Master IV) which is the entry grade to the administrative positions in Post Primary Learning Institutions.

The negotiations are part of the final phase of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) which came into effect on 1 July 2017.

Letters about the results of the interviews are in the process of being sent to all the teachers interviewed.

Teachers are warned to beware of fraudsters who claim to have the power to influence the results of interviews.

The Commission will consult with all teachers interviewed on the official channels of communication.

The Teacher Service Commission (TSC) congratulates those applicants who were successful at the same time has encouraged the unsuccessful one to try and apply next time once vacancies are advertised !
