Principal Succumbs to COVID-19 after KCSE Exam

Family and colleagues to Mrs Stella Otieno are in mourning after learning of her death.

The late madam Stella Otieno was the principal to Nyamwanga secondary school in Rachuonyo East Sub County.

According to Mr John Ologi, one of the principals in the area, the deceased succumbed due to Covid-19 complications.

Mrs Stella Otieno was working up to last week on Monday as the Examination center manager of her school. Her body has been preserved in Homabay County Hospital mortuary.

Her death comes a week after a colleague from Rakwaro Secondary school succumbed to the same.

Teachers all over the country are therefore urged to be careful during this examination period. Most importantly, observation of Covid-19 protocols to avoid any more cases of death due to the same

According to the school’s management committee, the deceased is expected to be laid to rest after the KCSE exam is concluded
