Voi primary school in Taita Taveta County closed after three teachers test positive for Covid-19; 27 pupils put on quarantine, Education Ministry says
This happens as CS Magoha is set to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta today Wednesday 4 Nov 2020 to set the dates for mass school reopening. The CS in his statement below stated that the decision would to open schools may have consequences.
“It shall be a very well informed decision that may have consequences, but then everybody will be responsible for those consequences,” Magoha stated on Monday, November 2.
The meeting will also be used to initiate a discussion on how to execute the mass return of students. Health CS Mutahi Kagwe approved the full resumption of studies despite the rise in Covid-19 cases
