A class 8 pupil is nursing serious injuries after he was attacked by hippo on the shores of Lake Victoria.
Austin Onyango, was attacked by the hippo when he was playing with his friends at the Nyamnwa Beach in Bondo, Siaya County.
Onyango’s father, Meshack Okuku, confirmed the incident and noted that the boy’s leg was severed by the animal.
