KUPPET CHAIR RANKED THE BEST LEGISLATURE

Jeremiah Omboko Milemba; Emuhaya Member of Parliament has been ranked as the best performing legislature nationally.

This is According to report released by Infotrack Research Poll on Sunday, September 27.

Omboko Milemba who is also a National Chairman of Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers (KUPPET), was ranked the best performing lawmaker.

The Emuhaya MP, garnered a total of 75.4% points to outshine the others. The performing MP was elected under the Amani National Congress (ANC) party.

At the position two was Emurua Dikir; Johana Ng’eno.The MP garnered 71.4% points. He was elected under the Kenya African National Union (KANU) ticket.

The remaining three legislatures to make it to top five as released by Infrotrack report were, Vincent Musyoka of Mwala Constituency (70.8%), Christopher Aseka of Khwisero (70.0%) and Patrick Mweu of Kibwezi West (69.8%).

At the bottom five we have, Mohamud Sheikh Mohammed of Wajir South (38.1%), Ali Wario of Bura Constituency (37.6%), Francis Kuria Kimani of Molo (37.0%), Clement Muturi Kigano of Kangema (36.3%) and Abdi Koropu Tepo of Isiolo South (33.0%).

To add on the list, the report ranked best and worst performing women representatives.

Woman reps Kisumu Woman Representatives Rosa Buyu emerged the best performing woman representatives with a scorecard of 61.5% followed closely by her Homa Bay counterpart Gladys Wanga at 61% while Lamu’s Obo Mohamed took position three with 60%.

Samburu’s Maison Leshomo was fourth with 59.7% while Rose Museo of Makueni clinched fifth position with a score of 57.6%.

Among the worst performing women Representatives include Kiambu Woman Rep Gathoni Wamuchomba, Trans Nzioa’s Janet Nangabo and Jerusha Momanyi of Nyamira.

Other poor performers include Nakuru’s Liza Chelule and Tana River’s Rehema Hassan.
