UHURU INSPECT SECOND PUBLIC TEACHERS TRAINING COLLEGE IN KWALE

Uhuru Kenyatta inspects the first ever TTC in Kwale

Kwale Governor H.E. Salim Mvurya together with his Deputy Fatuma Achani today hosted President Uhuru Kenyatta in Kwale County Kinango Sub County.

The President made an impromptu visit to inspect a number of government projects.

During his tour in Kinango President Kenyatta made a road test tour of the 51KM completed Samburu Kinango tarmac road from Vigurungani to Bang’a where he visited the ongoing Kwale Teacher Training College.

During his address to the people at Vigurungani President Uhuru Kenyatta pledged to give 150M to speed up the construction of Kwale Teachers Training College.

He said that 50M will be disbursed this financial year while the other 100M to be disbursed next financial year.

The Ksh 300million Teachers Training College will offer P1 and Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) courses.

The President promised Kwale residents that, the Kinango Kwale tarmacking will commence this Year with the contractor scheduled to be on the ground from November, 2020.

The President also promised to upgrade Mwangoni Primary School in Puma Ward.
